Well, let's see...the 7th picture down, as many may recognize, are the concrete
stubs for Rohn BX/HBX/HDBX towers, but you'd probably identified those already.
Got a set of those in my pad out back supporting my HDBX 40

As far as the tower goes, I'd be curious how many sections you have. The
sections look to be 8 foot tall, which are normal for BX/HBX/HDBX, as you're
aware. The bottom section is rather wide, making me think it might be around a
56 or 64 footer. It definitely is wider than my 40-footer, since the
relationship between mine and the Rohn 25 that I replaced it with looked to be
closer than the one in your picture, and that would make yours a taller tower.

You can tell the height the tower should be by measuring the width of the
widest part of the bottom section. The tower height to bottom section width
correlation is as follows:

40' - 20-1/8"
48' - 22-13/16"
56' - 25-1/2"
64' - 28-7/16"

I'd almost bet that the bars that are at the top and bottom of the sections are
there for shipping purposes only, used to prevent twisting and deforming of the
sections during shipping, especially on the larger sections. I'd think that
those are designed to be removed when the tower is installed. If I'm
incorrect, then I'd figure that I'll be corrected.

Hope that helps.

Mike - WA0ZOG
