Would you use the top plate for guy wires or use the torque arm bracket
which would be about one foot from the top.
Use the guy attachment points one the flat top. You might have to use a
clevis/shackle to attach the guywire though.
The foot-long torque arms don't do much so there's not much of an
advantage to using them. They mostly keep the tower from twisting when it's
being
climbed - and that's it.
