Gerald, K5GW, mentioned the water ingress and I'm becoming more
convinced that that's the problem. The bottom part of the feedline did spend
several
months luxuriating in our PNW winter precipitation and the part I looked at
was quite oxidized.

Sorry, maybe the decimal point didn't come thru. The original swr
was 1.3:1 and now it's 3:1.
