I had a Wilson TT-45 for about 15 years (1978 - 1995) with a Wilson SY-36 on it 
along with a large 2M 
colinear.  Never had any problems.  I think the beam weighed about 57 pounds.

I believe the tower and antenna are still being used by the guy I sold it to in 
1995.
