GA All:
Just found out from my father (WC7N) that he took his tower down. It is a
USTower HDX555. They are planning on moving and he is giving me the tower.
Now, all I have to do is to get it from thew coast of Oregon back to my QTH
near Baton Rouge, LA. I am planning a trip out there later this spring to
bring back some other items they have for me. I will be driving a Ford F150
pick up truck. Right now I have been asking around to borrow a trailer to
bring it back on.\ but so far have had no luck in finding one.
Can anyone offer suggestions as to where to find a trailer to haul that back
(he said it is 24 feet collapsed and weighs just under 900 pounds). Any
other suggestions or help would definitely be appreciated. My main concern
is pulling it through the mountains and I am working on a limited budget.
