What he needs is a longer piece of angle iron go he doesn't have to stretch.
I had to build a walk platform to access a commercial antenna once.
Fortunately the antenna was mounted about six feet out on a rest platform on
a ss, four legged, old AT&T tower.
A few 2x4's and a 12" wide piece of plywood and I was in business. Just
C-clamped it to the floor of the platform and walked the plank.
It was only about 130 feet up. Anything over about 180' feet and I would
have had reservations about my methods.
