My capstan winch is made by MY-TE. It runs off 12 volts and works great.
A friend has the AC powered version. Its reversible and comes with a
foot-switch. The 12-volt version is great for taking sections down but is a
little slow for lifting. The AC version is better since its faster for
lifting.
Another friend has one made by AB-Chance. This one does not have a foot
switch and it only runs one way. This is really not a problem as gravity
takes care of things in one direction. I have not seen it in operation yet
but we are putting up three rotating towers for him soon and will get to use
it.
