I have some old Copperweld wire that I'd like to use but in places the
copper plating is missing. What would be the best way to make connections at
these points? Can I simply wrap new copper wire securely at these points and
then solder? If I did that there would still be no solder adhering to the
old Copperweld since the steel is exposed.
Your ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
