It sounds like you hit the "S" button on the compass rose at the top of
the screen. I found that feature quite fascinating: it's possible to
look at your QTH from all four directions, North, South, East, and West.
Using live Local, I could clearly see my tower in all four views, which
I can't on Google Earth.

powered by Virtual Earth -- just did my QTH & in no way compares to
Google's Virtual Earth .. the Live Local version has the streets at my
QTH in negative fashion -- meaning the map is backwards and upside-down
-- East is West and the streets run backwards from the way it actually
is and no aerial view, which is fine with me.. -- on Google I can see
the shadow of my VHF/UHF tower -- having said that, an actual search on
Google is one house off and the latitude / longitude is off by almost a
minute according my Garmin -- but I ain't telling Google -- cheers de
