I use standard 1/2" hardline around the rotators for more then 20 years
without any problem or cable break.
The cables are formed into a one layer spring like that in a mechanical
clock.
My rotators turn 540°

superflex because can be reduced the diameter smaller
than the conventional hardline, in continous bending
will break sooner or more than sooner.
