And just to add to the confusion, there is a shareware Excel front end for
NEC-2 or 4 that is written by Dan Maguire, AC6LA (www.qsl.net/ac6la). It is
much easier to use than 4NEC2, though not as powerful. A full-capability demo
is available. One great strength is that it translates to/from EZNEC file
format, and has a tight integration to VOACAP. No optimizer, but excellent
variable handling and a multi-iteration test-case generator. Uses 4NEC2's
visualizer.
