After reading and answering the post about a solid aluminum mast, I decided to
Google scrap metal prices.
scrap aluminum $1.08 per pound
scrap aluminum alloys $1.06 per pound
scrap copper $2.24 per pound
scrap lead $ .53 per pound
A few sample ones. Guess I should have checked steel, but didn't. I think I
was recently told $.16 per pound.
