Folks...annecdotal evidence goes both ways here...
and none of it matters a hoot, if you're dealing with
code approval. Specs are specs.
THAT said, I like the simplicity of the HBDX series, and
would seriously consider one with a longer boom, so long as
I ran a torque tube to the bottom, and mounted the rotor there.
It's a matter of being able to convince the code officials that
your engineering is sound. Or your wife, if it's over your head.
The guy who originally posted the question is going to put up
ab105 instead. He had it available, and will sleep well at night.
We've beaten this one to death, let's leave it.
