I don't have guys on the tower unless I want to go up it..I live in 
western montana where the wind blows on occasion. Of course I don't have 
alot of weight on top. My beam is 16 lbs, rotor maybe 20, and mast 10 
lbs...hope this answers your question....73, Alan
