Boy, you bring back some good memories with this one.

Yes, they had a vertical about 20 feet long or so with a loading coil at the 
base.  You had to go out and switch the tap on the coil.

You could also buy a 2 element 20 meter beam for $21.95.  I bought one of 
their 2 element quads for $27.00.  Used it for about 5 years till a 100 MPH 
wind took it into the trees.

I think a company that could sell a $75 2 element monobander would sell a 
lot of them. There is just not that much material in a small antenna.  73
