I live on the SE coast (SC) and crank-ups are very popular in this area
because of one's ability to retract and tilt in the path of Tropical
Weather.

Subject: [TowerTalk] Crankups
I must agree with most of the postings in regards to
crankups. I'd love to put up 100' of rohn 25 but my
suburbial lot (60'x100') won't support the large
footpring of a guyed tower. So for me the crankup
fills the bill....until I retire and move!
Thanks to all who replied to my HG-52SS request.
