Well, if you don't already have one (SteppIR), you should get one, if your
budget will allow. My statement about being realistic has to do with price.

That's a completely low blow ... the three element SteppIR has three
elements the T6 has six. The SteppIR has a slightly longer boom but they're
both in the greater than 10 foot and less than 20 foot boom category. The
three element SteppIR will kick the T6, T8 and T10 all over the bands.
However, if you feel threatened by the comparison of a log-periodic to a
three element yagi, the TWO element SteppIR will also kick the
T6 all over the band ... with a FIVE FOOT boom and TWO elements.
