While that small change demonstrates loss in linear loading,
the effect is really bothersome when the antenna is very
short. With a long antenna, like a 100ft tall 160 antenna,
you can get away with doing things that would make a major
difference in a 50 foot vertical.
In other words when the loading system only corrects a small
reactance error we can get away with poor systems.
