Actually, pi are juicy and cornbread are dry. :)
The formula is (2(pi*r) * t where r = radius and t = # of turns.
To get the correct length, you'll have to measure the radius of the core
of the wire for each layer.
You might also try looking up the specs and get the weight of the cable
per foot and the weight of the spool. Weigh the loaded spool; subtract
the weight of the spool, leaving the weight of the cable. Divide the
total weight of the cable by the weight per foot and, voila! You have
the number of feet on the spool.
