White lithium grease, oh my Keith, nooooo! ;-) ;-)
Grease is a dirt and grit magnet -- it would eventually
capture grit between the contacts in a roller inductor
or in the mechanism of a roller or air variable and
destroy them.
I do love white lithium for rotators, sliding doors, and
other such large-contact applications but would be terrified
to use it in small contact apps.
IMHO, YMMV ...
