Hal,
I used this for several years both here in Florida and at my home in
Colorado. It is quite strong and is good for 2-3 years before the UV makes
it too brittle to be reliable. You will need to review your boy scout knots
in order to tie this stuff! I tied it like heavy fishing mono-filament.
