A TowerTalk member sent me a message and said that a TT member may be
interested in the pair of GINA's I offered him.
"However, a point-to-point link for voice and high-speed data would be
just right for someone who needs to locate the transceiver remotely
(which I don't). People are sending me all kinds of information, so I
just found out that the one RS-232 link between the Gina boxes could be
made to support several "virtual" control links by using RS-232
multiplexing modules (www.weedtech.com)."
The project for which I acquired the GINA's a while back has been
canceled due to other priorities.
I am willing to part with my pair of GINA 7000NV's (including handsets,
power supplies, antennas, etc) for $175. including shipping conus.
Gee, that's $2,135. less than New! ;-)
Please note that my earlier post mislabeled them as the "N" model, they
are the "NV" model. From the Rock2000 site "The GINA 7000NV allows half
duplex, two way voice communication." (In addition to RS-232.)
