This is good advice and just about the way I do it, although I have never
tried to do 30 an hour. All I can add is that you need a decent sized iron
and it does need to be hot so you can do the work quickly.
The sharp knife (or razor blade) is imperative for getting a nice clean cut.
I use a box-cutter utility knife with a fresh blade.
If you get a clean cut the coax goes right in the connector with no trouble.
