ZF2NT's tale of woe regarding the Titanex vertical
raises some interesting questions. Evidently the
problem hasn't been solved, and the solution needs
to come from the manufacturer.
As for the chaps who leapt to the conclusion that it
was "substandard aluminum from a 3rd world source"...
there is no evidence of that. It may well be mis-specified.
For those who suggest "buy american next time"...there is no
evidence that that would make one immune from engineering or
manufacturing error.
Um...and for the record...Telrex has been out of business
for an awfully long time...and was functionally so for a decade
or more, before Mike Ercolino's son finally milked it to death.
