Only you know the answer to that one.

Unless you are a multimillionaire who has no monetary concerns about how much
land is and so forth, there is always going to be a tradeoff and some
compromise of what you really want.

I suppose what I have could be considered a 'world class station.' Buying
the property was a compromise. I didn't want to commute an hour and a half
each
way to work. I didn't want to live out in the middle of nowhere for the sake
of my hobby.

Compromise....8 acres which I could afford. It was in a 1+ acres only with
nice houses and no deed restrictions and was close to shopping, and an easy
drive to Tampa and St. Pete. The trade-off....120K power lines within 1200 ft
of
the property, lots of overhead lines, and much of the land is very close to
being underwater.

I have a dominant station on 80 through 10, but I'll never be a big gun on
160. There just isn't enough room for that four square. Give a little, get a
little.

Good luck on the decision making. It's a decision that most hams would love
to be forced into.
