Good question. I sure don't know the answer.... maybe one of our resident gurus might venture one.
Without pulling the antenna downj to take a look, I'm not even sure how close the boom gets to the

I wonder if there is there any chance of arc-over from the boom to the motor circuits with high voltage induced at the top of the tower/boom when loading on 160M?
