Tom,
I use 3 inch EMT pipe (steel) which has a 2-7/8 inch OD. Found in
electrical supply houses in 10 ft. lengths. I have used a 4 ft. piece as a
center insert into 3 inch OD irrigation tubing for 40 ft. (overall) booms,
etc. Also made a 80 M 4 Square from 3 inch irrigation tubing too. The
individual elements were actually (3) 20 ft. lengths and I used 18 inch
long 3 inch EMT for the splices. Worked perfect.
Regards,

Subject: RE: [TowerTalk] Boom splice securing
Speaking of boom splices, where does one find a splice for 3" boom
sections?
Thanks/73
