John - Myself and another local friend used Rust Bullet for the first time last year and so far we are very happy with it. Bring several sets of disposable gloves and full body painter's coveralls, however, or you will look like the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz when you're done. This stuff gets on everything. I'd recommend applying with a sponge. It's messier than a brush, but about 4 times faster. 73, Bob - W3YY ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Crovelli" <w2gd@hotmail.com> To: <towertalk@contesting.com> Sent: Thursday, January 27, 2005 2:43 PM Subject: [TowerTalk] Tower Rust Repair I'm about to enbark upon a tower painting project on Aruba. In past years I've used various products such as ZRC Cold Galvanizing Compound, POR15, and Brite to name a few with varying degrees of success. The conditions on Aruba are extreme....with constant salt and wind with sand that tends to etch the steel, especially on the east side of towers.. _______________________________________________ See: http://www.mscomputer.com for "Self Supporting Towers", "Wireless Weather Stations", and lot's more.
