I've had a DirectTV dish for at least 5 years, no problems at all. I'm in a
Chicago residential neighborhood that is relatively densely populated --
houses on either side of me are 20 ft from my house, at least 15 apartment
units within 100 ft, virtually of which are served by cable.

I run a KW on 160-10, 100w on 6 and 2 SSB. Never had a TVI complaint (except
from the XYL, before I got serious with suppression and filters on the TV and
hi-fi rig). And all of that is clean with 100 watts. I live on the second
floor of a wood 2-flat, rent out the 1st flr to a family. They told me that
one weekend when I was working an HF SSB contest, there were voices coming out
of the electric piano. That's the only RFI complaint.
