I think to be honest the internet replaced the snailmail method of
advertising. If you look at QST, there isnt anything thats private party(or not
much)
thats in the ads in the back anymore. Why put something in a publication that
is weeks old before its distributed when you can sell something in an hour
on the internet? At least most of the time you can get the phone number of the
party selling and also a picture of the item in minutes. Im glad the
internet is around to advertise on. Wouldnt want to go back. BTW, to be honest

dont think I would have learned as much about ham radio as I have without the
internet. The experiences offered here has been invaluable to me in building a
station that I would have only dreamed of at one time. Its been cool.....73
