Many reflectors will reject posts from non-subscribers. And this is what
you are when you subscribe with an email alias.
Subscribing with an email alias also puts the burden of recipient address
maintenance on the moderator, additional work that he really can do without.
So if you want to post - subscribe from your real email address. And it is
my opinion that if you do not want to post then you should not subscribe.
