I suspect there is more to this story. I, for one, have purchased a tower,
tower services and climbing equipment from Steve (Champion Radio) over the
past 2 yrs and find him to be very reliable and a man of his word. Every item
I
ordered arrived here quickly. One item needed return and he took care of that
very quickly as well. (a belt sizing problem that was actually MY problem).
The tower service he did for me was done on time and actually lower cost than
originally quoted. He was courteous, professional and even suggested cost
cutting measures that helped me save a few bucks.
"Poor business practices"? Not from my dealings! No way.
Kudos to Steve Morris!!!

Fellow Tower Talk Members,
The poor business practices of Steve Morris from Champion Radio Products has
been extended to the poorer management practices of Tower Talk. I am
wondering if I am the only person who has experienced this treatment? I have
been banished by Steve K7LXC from Tower Talk.
Since Steve K7LXC has decided to use this reflector as part of his Champion
Radio business I feel free to release the information on my dealings with
Champion Radio to this reflector.
After leaving many messages on the Champion Radio telephone answering
machine about receiving and incomplete climbing belt and the incorrect
billing for the items and after not getting any
reply to these many phone calls I sent the belt and other items back via
UPS. The package was returned to me marked delivery
refused. I contacted my credit card company and supplied them with all the
information about this transaction. The credit card company issued a stop on
the charge and a credit to my account. This event took place in July 2004.
Rather then contacting me during the past six months to resolve this
situation Steve K7LXC from Champion Radio decided to banish me from Tower
Talk sending me the message included below.
Thanks again,
Rich...
