I find N-connectors are the most commonly found connectors for hardline.
Changing these to UHF is quite easy since the adapters can be found at most
hamfests for a good price. I recently got ten new ones for $37. I didn't
check
for DIN adapters but I imagine they would be pretty cheap also.
For those who want to get the genuine Andrew connectors.......On Ebay, the
new DIN hardline connectors for 7/8 sometimes go as cheaply as $10. With a $4
adapter that makes them $14...pretty cheap for hardline connectors.
I have made my own hardline connectors from copper flares, but why go through
all that work to save eight bucks after you figure in parts.
