Hello Jim,

In MHO all depends upon what you understand by recycling.
A tower you don?t trust to climb on, wont get more trustable after
galvanizing again , other treatments then galvanizing in this particular
case would be very expensive. A simple replacement will be a better
decision economically and last but not least for security thought.

Is it safe to trust a rusty tower?  Not sure I would want to climb a 
tower with rust.  I sent over 300 feet of 25G to be recycled because of 
rust.
