When you are thinking of painting (?) a wire for an antenna, think of the main
background. I have a dipole with a black wire one side and a red wire the
other
side. It depends where I stand whether I can "see" the wire or not.
I would think that if you paint the wire with various dull non-shining paint,
it would be
a little less visible.
