A couple of years ago, in a telephone conversation with Mr. EZNEC, as an
aside I mentioned to Roy that his program does not utilize Window's dual
monitor capability properly. What happens is that windows (such as the
antenna pattern display) when moved to the second monitor "snaps" back
to a default position in the program whenever there is a change made to
the pattern. This requires the operator to constantly drag windows to
the positions desired.
Roy said that I was the first one to his knowledge using EZNEC in a dual
monitor setup. Although I may have been among the first few
using EZNEC with dual monitors, I don't believe that to be true now. If
you haven't tried using a dual monitor setup, I urge you to give it a
try. Further more if you haven't tried antenna modeling, I urge you to
give it a try also.
Unfortunately the latest EZNEC revisions didn't correct this problem.
Please send a short email to w7el@eznec.com that you too are using (or
will be) using a dual monitor setup.
thanx
