You beat me to it Julio.
No way you can beat the price, to say NOTHING of all the work just to have something
that may or may not be designed properly.

Maybe you want the thrill of building it yourself. Maybe you've got a pile of EMT sitting there waiting to be used (EMT is pretty darn cheap (a couple bucks a stick?))?


The basic scheme that's outlined uses 6 vertical struts tied to a triangular base and top. The key is going to be how you attach the conduit to the triangles.

One could easily design a freestanding tapered tower with this approach (think windmill).
