If you connect 12" of RG213/u to a 20 ohm j0 load, the result is 20 ohms
+j.7, which is a negligble change. The practical effect is to lower the
frequency
of the system a few kHz.
Since a 12" length has such a small effect, it is reasonable to conclude that
a PL259/SO239 combo, which is only an inch or two will have an even smaller
effect. Ths is probably why the 20 ohm transformer has this type connector.
These connectors are readily available, will handle plenty of power and very
little electrical effect at these low frequencies.
