Keith,

I use two ICE 419A bandpass filters in my M/2 contest station. I have
greater than 250 feet between my LPA for 20-10 and the 15 meter beam,
greater than 300 feet between the LPA and the 40 meter beam, greater than
400 feet between the 15 meter beam and the 40 meter beam, but only about 100
feet between the ends of the 80 meter four square elevated radials. The 160
meter antenna is the three towers themselves and the beverages are outside
everything. They work just fine.

I did not have to send them back for retuning, but I have not measured them.
I have not found any problems with them. I put them between the rigs and the
amplifiers.

I do not operate the station with two positions on the same band, but I have
had no interaction problems when the antennas are all working. We run two
transmitters and high power. We do not however normally run mixed mode. I
have used them on Field Day in a multi mode environment, but not with high
power.

I've heard from others that the ICE filters aren't as good as the other
filters that Jay has, but those other stations were running multiple stacks
on the same tower. The ICE filters don't have as much ultimate rejection as
the other filters, but if you separate your antennas everything will be
fine.
