TT's:
i use several diferents techniques and products, depending the rust or the
dirt on the aluminum.
1.-i can use the scoth brite pads at light or finish look.
2.-regular rust or rust spots from other metals, sand paper, 360- 500 ,
later metal or bronze wool. later the scoth brite pads
3.- very ugly rust and others dirts on the aluminum. foam cleaner, the one
used in the air conditioner industry to clean air radiators .. leave a
white spots but very clean and smooth surface on the aluminum , last
option. very delicate to use, maybe in some states toxic or illegal.. i,m in
Mexico Guys, i use depending the time i want to put on the pipe or use to
continue with step 1 to clean the white spots and leave a uniform
finish, but really cleans this foam , if you don't care also remove your
nails very easy leaving a nice pain on the finges. use gloves always.
good luck
