I recently acquired this critter when a I bought a used tower for my new
set up here on Kauai. I had to go into it when it turned out to be frozen.
I found two problems both now fixed but, big but, the alignment is off for
the full travel. It has to do with the set up and tracking of both
indicator pots. One in the rotor and the other in the control head. I have
tried a logical approach of trial and error but will not turn the prescribes
450 degrees from lock to lock with out actuating the cutouts.
Does anyone have the alignment/initial setup procedure for the pots. The
rotor pot is set to midrange and the rotor assembled in midrange as
indicted by the cutout actuator. I attempted the same for the control head.
Obviously I have it wrong. The control head is a mechanical nightmare using
a dc motor and rubber band drive with lots of easily stripped plastic gears.
It's a nice rotor and even had the rs232 interface so I would like to get it
cracking again. I have the alignment procedure for the interface.
