Read Martin A. Uman's books Lightning, c 1969 and All About Lightning,
c1986. Uman made a career of studying lightning and lightning protection. PolyPhaser's book and ICE's pamphlets are fairly sound material for the practitioner. I'm sure there are many other books by professionals who know what they are talking about. Clear your minds of anecdotes and myths and get the facts. Some aspects of lightning are mysterious to the average person, but the phenomena never violates the laws of physics. 73 de WOØW _______________________________________________ See: http://www.mscomputer.com for "Self Supporting Towers", "Wireless Weather Stations", and lot's more.
