We are "off-task" with this discussion. Log periodic antennas were designed to give stations with broad frequency requirements the ability to use a single rotatable antenna. They were not designed for maximum gain or F/B ratios. It is as simple as that. The bottom line is Rich needs to decide how much money he wants to spend and then build or buy the antennas he wants. It is not a Stepp-IR/Force12/CCraft/Hygain comparison that this thread has turned in to.
