There is nothing illegal about a lineman's belt! At least not in these
United States. Don't know why the author made the statements below.
But it looks to me like someone trying to hock fall arrest devices by
scaring people into believing that a "simple climbing belt" is now
illegal. Climbing belts are still legal to sell, buy and use.
