One thing not mentioned so far is whether this is a good idea in the
first place.
Radials are most efficient when laid directly on top of the ground, or
better yet, supported above the ground. Burying them increases ground
loss because the RF field has to penetrate the (lossy) ground to reach
them. The deeper they're buried, the worse the effect.
If you *have* to bury them, ok, just something to keep in mind.
