Folks, Someone drive their car over the KT 34XA a while back and bent some of the thicker elements. (Near center of driven element, abt 1 1/2" tubing. I am tempted to use a vise, and or other stiff clamp and some armstrong to try to straighten the elements, but dont want to break or kink them in the process...Once I heard of a trick of filling a tube with sand to support the tube, and minimize chances of collapse under bending forces...Any ideas, tricks to bending antenna tubing without breaking? 73, de Pat, AA6EG aa6eg@hotmail.com _________________________________________________________________ FREE pop-up blocking with the new MSN Toolbar ? get it now! http://clk.atdmt.com/AVE/go/onm00200415ave/direct/01/ _______________________________________________ See: http://www.mscomputer.com for "Self Supporting Towers", "Wireless Weather Stations", and lot's more.
