After reading all the posts on this tower crew issue, I have tried and tried
to access it and cannot. What have I missed? So, if anyone can point me in
the right direction PLEASE...I am fully prepared to be offended. Some of you
guys have all the fun. Jeeez, I hope it's not Janet Jackson on Rohn 45 !!

Thanks,
I appreciate the information.
That one little bit has increased my knowledge of the way the thing works by
a tremendous amount. I had only seen photos of the element straps and
reels.
The next question is, "How do it know?"

I should add that the comments from SteppIR may only relate to the low
frequency extension. Though not discussed, there may be other design
details including additional elements to facilitate respectable performance
on the higher bands. It may be that there are more than 3 elements total.

I wonder how a new design from SteppIR would fit into the overall HF yagi
market if it ended up as follows:
3 elements on a boom about 32 feet long
Maximum element length of 67 feet allowing operation on 40 and 30 meters
Upper frequency including 10 meters
Priced around $3000
I wonder about such an antenna since I am trying to decide what to buy and
the specs above are what are being targeted by SteppIR for their new yagi.
It won't be ready as soon as they wanted, this summer, but sometime after,
TBD. This info is per the factory this afternoon.
I had been leaning towards the 4 el with some other solution for 30 and 40
meters which would push the cost and complexity higher. Only wish I could
know the performance to gauge if the wait would be worth it.

Looking for anyone using a KT36XA and the Cushcraft XM240 on the same
mast.
Antenna Separation Distance?
Any noted Interaction with the KT36 (15 Meters) and the XM240?
Thanks....

It has been brought several times up on this reflector that it is unsafe to
climb by yourself. One should always have ground help available.
The link below will show you the qualifications your helper should possess.
Be advised it is R-rated.
