The tuned input of the amplifier is what is causing the high SWR.

My  guess is that your amplifier has a band switch tracking issue. In other
words, the input section is not tracking with the output section. OR there
is a defective component in the tuned input circuit for 160 meters and
possibly other bands.

Is the input SWR high on other bands?

You could call Alpha (or whatever they're called this week) and see what
they have to say about it.
