Well the coaxial capacitor seems to work OK when modeled. Messed around with
it this AM. It's basically some loading on the end of the element with an adjustable
coaxial capacitor (their tape in a metal tube near the end of the element). So, someone
owning one of these might want to play at adding 30 to the 20m version. I hope
to have time to play with it on a vertical antenna next weekend.

I can comment that in talking with the guys at SteppIR, they ARE working on
a 40 and up Yagi/Dipole. No details as yet but it is supposed to have
somewhat shortened elements. MAY be introduced at Dayton 04, but more likely
later. Not sure how they plan to shorten the elements, but it has to be done
with care & creativity, else the motors & sprockets & contacts get exposed
to a lot of RF volts.
They have built and sold full size 40m Yagi(s), based on the verticals
arranged horizontally. Probably went to you know who.
