Also, yes the ridge at the junction of the telescoping tubes has been
machined to a cone shape to ease the transition. There is alway a demo
running continuously at the FM booth at whatever hamfest they're at. Just
keeps goin' and goin' and...... They've run these things through several
million cycles with no failures in tests.
I'm quite pleased with mine, a 3el with the 6M add on. I've had mine up
since early August 2002.
And as previously stated, the customer service is unmatched anywhere.
